Industry fund WA Super has named Fabian Ross as the business’ new chief executive, replacing the retiring John McNally.
Mr Ross has worked in the financial services industry for over two decades, having held the titles of acting chief executive and general manager wealth management with GESB, as well as holding a number of roles with Commonwealth Bank.
Prior to his appointment at WA Super, Mr Ross worked at BT Financial Group, where he held a number of different roles.
The appointment follows the resignation of Mr McNally, who has served at WA Super for over 25 years, including 11 as chief executive.
Mr McNally was thanked for his service by WA Super chair Tim Shanahan, who also said he was “delighted” with Mr Ross’ appointment.
