Morningstar has appointed a new director of manager research ratings in the Asia Pacific, reporting to global practice leader Grant Kennaway.
Chris Douglas has been appointed Morningstar's director of manager research ratings in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Douglas replaces Kathryn Young, who is leaving the business, Mr Kennaway said.
"Chris is returning to our market after two years working as a senior leader in our North American data business," he said.
"He previously jointly led our local manager research team for many years and so has extensive knowledge of Australian and New Zealand fund managers and funds. Chris will be based in Auckland, New Zealand, and will visit Australia regularly.
"There are no other changes to our manager research team at this time," Mr Kennaway added.
