Automated advice firm Ignition Wealth has appointed a former CBA executive as a director to its wealth advisory board.
Tom Pockett is the second director to join Ignition Wealth’s board, following the appointment of Peter Meurer as chairman.
Mr Pockett has previously served as the deputy chief financial officer at CBA and as the finance director for Woolworths. He has also held senior positions at Lend Lease.
Currently a non-executive director of Stockland Group and Insurance Australia, Mr Pockett said: “I look forward to joining Ignition Wealth as it expands the reach of traditional financial advice.”
Ignition Wealth chief executive Mark Fordree said: “The outstanding quality of the financial industry leaders joining the Ignition Wealth team is a reflection of the excellence of the product we are bringing to market.”
