The research and investment consultancy announced that it has appointed Peter Dening as business development manager for NSW and the ACT. Mr Dening, who will be based in Sydney and report to Zenith head of sales Glenn Boyes, commenced in the role on 27 April.

Mr Dening previously spent six years in business development roles within BT Financial Group and AMP’s platform businesses and spent five years in the financial advice industry.

“Peter will be responsible for building and servicing the investment research and portfolio consulting requirements of Zenith’s financial adviser client base in New South Wales and the ACT,” Mr Boyes said.

“His professional skills and experience will be key in supporting the growing footprint of our product offering, which now includes FE fundinfo’s products under the Zenith brand.”

The business development roles within Zenith have undergone multiple changes over the last few months, with the promotion of Mr Boyes to head of sales and the addition of Ben Bell as business development manager for NSW and Western Australia in February.

Zenith chief operating officer (COO) Jason Huddy said that the promotion of Mr Boyes and appointment of Mr Bell came at an important time in the development of the business as it continues to expand its product and service offering to clients nationally.

“Glenn has significant experience in serving wealth management clients and leading product delivery teams across the market and we’re confident that our growing client base will further benefit from this,” said Mr Huddy.
