Clime Investment Management has announced a new director to its board.

On Monday, the group confirmed that Claire Bibby – who is also a non-executive director of ASX companies, Comms Group Limited and Arowana International Limited – will join the Clime board.

In the last five years, Ms Bibby, who is also a senior lawyer and professional coach, has founded and co-founded businesses in the legal, executive coaching and property-tech sectors and has over 25 years’ experience through senior management appointments.

Ms Bibby is also a non-executive director of the Marist180 charity and an industry fellow with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Clime chairman John Abernethy said Ms Bibby’s appointment now puts the board in a strong position to drive the company’s growth agenda through a wealth of experience in areas such as governance, risk and corporate affairs.

The appointment comes after Brett Spork and Peter Beaumont stepped down from the board late last month and were replaced by Dr Michael Kollo, Susan Wynne and Ronni Chalmers.

In August, former Clime director Neil Schafer was voted off the board by shareholders.

Two of Clime’s four board members were in favour of the move, including Mr Abernethy.
