Phelim O’Neill has taken the role, where he will be held responsible for relationships across the adviser, family office and wholesale channels across NSW and the ACT.
Mr O’Neill has joined Channel Capital from his previous role as state account manager at AMP Capital, where he serviced private wealth groups and advisers.
He has a reported 12 years’ experience in financial services across distribution, project management and wealth.
Channel Capital head of distribution Andrew King said Mr O’Neil is a “well-regarded individual within the advice and wealth space across the eastern states”.
“As the growth of our investment capabilities continues, we can expect to attract such high quality talent to service the needs of our clients,” Mr King said.
Channel Capital has also recently launched its first subsidiary in the US, Eolas Capital, a New York-based incubator for boutique investment managers.
