Private debt specialist Revolution Asset Management has made two additions to its team.

Steve Sutinen and Lucie Bielczykova have joined in the newly created roles, as portfolio manager and associate portfolio manager, respectively. They have come on alongside the company founders Bob Sahota, Simon Petris and David Saija.

In the role, Mr Sutinen’s focus is on the asset-backed securities portfolio. Meanwhile Ms Bielczykova will assist in managing senior secured assets including corporate leveraged loans, private asset-backed securities and real estate loans.

Revolution chief investment officer Ms Sahota commented the new appointments will be key to driving investment performance, as the company looks to grow its footprint in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining Revolution, Mr Sutinen was a senior relationship manager at Bluestone APAC, responsible for managing a third-party servicing contract for a $7 billion mortgage portfolio.

He had previously spent 21 years at Challenger, within the company’s life arm as well as its fixed-income team, most recently as senior portfolio manager for the alternative debt portfolio.

Ms Bielczykova has joined from JANA, where she was focused on fixed-income research, portfolio construction and investment strategy advice for Australian and New Zealand institutional clients.

She had also been a fixed-income portfolio analyst at Challenger, after beginning her career at Kapstream Capital.

Ms Bielczykova is currently studying towards becoming a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charterholder.
