Investment research and consulting house Zenith Investment Partners has made a number of key hires to support growth and expand its service delivery.

Shailesh Jain will take on the role of senior investment consultant, with primary responsibility for a number of the group’s client and platform relationships. He joins Zenith from Lonsec, where he was deputy head of active manager research and manager for Australian equities. He started his career as a credit analyst at NAB in 2004, and holds a master of applied finance from the University of Melbourne, a master of commerce from Deakin, and a bachelor of business management and business administration from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College.

Calvin Richardson and Martin Kofoed have also joined Zenith as investment consultants, with responsibility for client engagement and governance in support of Zenith’s growing client base. Mr Richardson joins from Lonsec, while Mr Kofoed joins from Pitcher Partners.

“Zenith has been providing managed account services to advisers for over four years now and this year, our service delivery to advisers has ramped up even further,” said head of consulting Steven Tang.

“Being able to closely track and quickly communicate financial market changes and fund manager insights to advisers, let alone support them to make timely and necessary changes to their managed account portfolios over recent months, has been critical for their service to clients. Expanding our team into this growing segment of the market is important for our ongoing service commitment to advisers and their clients.”
