Talaria nabs former Bank of America exec

Talaria Capital has announced the appointment of a new general manager for business.

Bank of America chief operating officer for global markets Australia Rhys Cahill will step into the role of Talaria’s new general manager for business. Mr Cahill was with Bank of America for 15 years, commencing in the role of manager for equity finance and corporate actions in 2005. 

He has also held the role of chief operating officer for equities. 

“We’re delighted to have someone of the quality and experience of Rhys choose to join Talaria,” said Talaria CEO Jamie Mead.

“This announcement is another important milestone in our growth, and further recognition of the value we deliver for people and communities.”

Mr Cahill also holds a master of business administration from Deakin University. He will commence with Talaria on November 16. 

“Talaria’s purpose and values, the strength of the leadership team, and their unique approach to global equity investing have been instrumental in me wanting to join,” Mr Cahill said. 

“I am excited to be part of the team, and look forward to contributing to the next phase of growth for the business.”
