A global financial services provider has announced its new head of APAC as it signals a stronger push into the region.
Valerie Mantot-Groene will serve as head of APAC for Apex, taking over from Maggie Chan.
“Valerie’s addition to the Apex leadership team is great timing, given the expansion of our services and capabilities across a broader spectrum of financial services in the region,” said Srikumar T.E., global head of fund services. “She is a highly experienced professional who will bring important senior leadership skills to our team in APAC.”
Ms Mantot-Groene joins Apex from Sanne Group. She has more than 18 years’ experience in investment management, and is a qualified lawyer.
“I am very pleased to be joining Apex at this exceptional milestone within its story,” Ms Matot-Groene said. “The group has been on an impressive growth trajectory and the APAC region is ready to leverage the single-source capabilities the group has to offer at a local level which provides a really unique solution for local clients.”
Apex recently obtained a trust and corporate services licence in Hong Kong, and has $40 billion in AUA in the APAC region.
