Tony Lynch has been appointed as the new chief commercial officer of clearing and settlement provider FinClear.
Mr Lynch has been a director of FinClear since its inception, and said that the decision to join in a full-time capacity had been made as the company reached a new growth trajectory.
“FinClear has grown rapidly over the past year both in terms of profile and client acquisition,” Mr Lynch said.
“As chief commercial officer my role is to maintain the momentum and help steer the business as we increase our market share and expand our product and service offerings.”
Mr Lynch’s most recent full-time role was as CFO at Pershing, and he continues in a small number of external board positions.
“Tony’s guidance has been invaluable as FinClear has grown from an idea to a thriving business,” CEO David Ferrall said.
“Having him on the team full-time will be fantastic, and we’ve been able to set some very aggressive growth targets for 2020 knowing he will be here to support them.”
