Acadian Asset Management has appointed its Australia CEO Andrew Hair as the new head of Asia Pacific as part of its growth strategy for the region.
Mr Hair will be responsible for Acadian business in Australia and New Zealand as well as affiliated offices in Tokyo and Singapore. He will hold the newly created role in addition to his CEO duties.
“This role is not only a reflection of Andrew’s success overseeing strong growth in Australia but also underpins Acadian’s dedication to expanding our global capabilities,” said chief marketing officer Kelly Young.
“We believe that through this strategic regional approach, we can increase the coordination between offices to continue delivering innovative client solutions, and Andrew’s role will be crucial as part of this overall effort.”
Mr Hair has been CEO of Acadian Asset Management Australia since 2012 and has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets.
