Global investment manager First Sentier (formerly Colonial First State) has appointed former Sustainalytics director Kate Turner as its new responsible investment specialist.
The appointment comes as part of First Sentier’s renewed focus on its ESG investment strategy.
“Kate will play an integral role in supporting our investment teams, and working with our clients and other stakeholders in Australia and New Zealand, as we communicate our approach and progress in integrating responsible investment across the business,” said global head of responsible investment Will Oulton.
“The investment teams’ commitment to incorporating ESG principles across their processes and strategies is central to their investment approach, and underpins our corporate identity.”
Ms Turner has previously worked at ICBC Standard Bank Plc in London and Baker & McKenzie in Sydney.
