Franklin Templeton Australia has appointed a former national manager of strategy from Australian Unity Wealth to be its new retail key account manager.
Paul Ramsay has commenced his role based in the company’s Melbourne office.
He is being held responsible for building and maintaining relationships in the Australian retail advice market, as the company aims to continue growing its coverage in the segment of the market.
Mr Ramsay will be reporting to Manuel Damianakis, head of retail for the Australian market.
“As a highly experienced strategic funds management professional, Paul brings industry expertise and extensive networks to the firm, and we are excited to have him join the firm,” Mr Damianakis said.
