Willis Towers Watson adds Sydney consultant

Willis Towers Watson has hired a consultant for its Sydney investments team, to be strengthen the team’s services in asset owner governance.

Rebecca Bannan has rejoined the company after almost two years at Alpha Financial Markets Consulting.

Prior to that, she spent four years with Willis Towers Watson, which included working on a number of government projects.

“The range of Becka’s experience will be of enormous value to our clients,” Martin Goss, director of Investments for Australia, Willis Towers Watson said.

“She has the ability to work across all our advisory services, including strategic and dynamic asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection and monitoring.

“We’re excited by her recent work in delivering best practice operating models for global asset management businesses and in creating a holistic monitoring framework to help asset owners with governance and oversight, risk management and monitoring of decision making at all stages of the investment process.”

He added Ms Bannan has global exposure to the institutional investment community and specifically pension and superannuation funds.
