CBA farewells 2 senior members

The Commonwealth Bank has announced the resignation of a company secretary along with the retirement of a chief executive. 

Doug Carmichael has retired from his role as chief executive of group super for the bank and will finish in June this year. 

For the past 9 years, Mr Carmichael has led the trustee services team in its service of the bank’s group super fund. 

His team has been responsible for assisting the group super trustee board in the development and execution of strategies to achieve superior member satisfaction, grow the fund and help members improve their financial wellbeing.

Also departing is Clare McManus who has resigned as company secretary of the bank with effect from 20 March this year. 

The bank has already announced the appointment of Kristy Huxtable as company secretary but Kara Nicholls will continue to be the point person for communications with the ASX.
