Willis Towers Watson appoints new executive role

Willis Towers Watson Investments has announced the appointment of a new manager of products & operations.

Greg Murphy, most recently a division director at Macquarie Group joined Willis Towers Watson’s investments team in August and has responsibility for managing the operational aspects of delegated client portfolios.

Willis Towers Watson’s head of delegated and specialist solutions Aongus O’Gorman said he was delighted to welcome Mr Murphy to the team.


“He brings a wealth of experience to us from his 17 years at Macquarie, and will be an invaluable addition to both Willis Towers Watson and our clients,” he said.

Mr O’Gorman said that the group was committed to serving the needs of asset owners in Australia and this spanned across all manners of consulting and services.

“Our Delegated service enables clients to efficiently access high-quality investment and operational capabilities in a transparent, flexible and tailored way,” he said.

Mr O’Gorman said there had been strong interest in the groups capabilities having won two significant mandates in the past year.

“We are committed to offering and expanding our service and Greg’s appointment reflects this,” he said.
