Ms Shelley will replace retiring CIO Garrie Lette and oversee the Catholic Super’s “$9 Billion MyLife MyMoney Superannuation Master Trust”, which operates the Catholic Super and MyLife MySuper funds.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Anna to the role of Chief Investment Officer,” said Catholic Super chief executive Frank Pegan.

“Anna’s exceptional experience, investment expertise combined with her strategic and leadership qualities will ensure CSF retains its position as one of Australia’s leading investment performers. Anna comes to us with a strong history of delivering for members and a socially conscientious approach to investment, making her a perfect fit for CSF.”

Ms Shelley said she was “thrilled” with the appointment, adding that she will work with Mr Lette prior to his departure to “ensure a smooth transition for all our members, partners and the CSF team”.
