The administration provider has announced in a statement that Mr Khoury has been appointed to the position of chief executive, effective 21 May 2018.
Mr Khoury departed from his role at State Street in September 2016, upon which he took up a director role at a Sydney-based high school.
His career at State Street spanned more than 10 years, during which he also occupied the titles of head of asset manager, sector sales, chief operating officer, and head of product services.
Mr Khoury has also held director and senior research roles at Focus Investment Management, Hopkins Partners Investment Management, and the Investment Funds Association of Australia.
Link Group corporate markets chief executive officer Paul Gardiner said Mr Khoury's "strong background" in delivering client outcomes was an "excellent fit with our expanding network".
