NAB corporate super GM jumps ship to AMP

NAB general manager of corporate super Lara Bourguignon will start a new director role at AMP, currently held by Rod Finch who will move into a new position.

According to a statement by AMP, Ms Bourguignon will move into the role of director of strategic marketing and customer experience, a position currently held by Mr Finch.

He will be stepping into the role of director of superannuation, retirement and investments on 3 April, which will see him responsible for the financial institution’s superannuation and platform products, the statement said.

Ms Bourguignon will oversee marketing and customer experience as well as data and analytics capabilities spanning AMP’s wealth management businesses.

She joins from NAB where she held executive positions for nearly 10 years. Before that, she occupied manager and senior positions at NAB subsidiary MLC Australia.

Mr Finch joined AMP in 2013. Prior to that, he spent three years in London at Lloyd Banking Group and, before that, held a number of senior roles at Westpac between 2004 and 2010.

Both will report to AMP group executive of wealth solutions and chief customer officer Paul Sainsbury, who commented: “Rod and Lara are proven leaders who bring considerable wealth management expertise to their respective roles.”

“Rod will drive the continued investments we’re making in our market-leading superannuation products and investment platforms, while Lara’s focus will be providing personal, engaging and highly relevant customer experiences,” Mr Sainsbury said.
