ASX-listed investment firm Pengana International Equities Limited has appointed a Milton Corporation managing director to the role of chairman.
Having been a member of the board since June 2017, Francis Gooch has already commenced in the new role and has replaced David Groves, who will remain as a non-executive director.
With experience in the financial and investment industries, Mr Gooch is currently managing director of ASX-listed investment company Milton Corporation Limited, where he has worked since 1996, and also holds a director position at Hunter Hall Global Value Limited.
Commenting on his own appointment, Mr Gooch said that it was an honour to succeed Mr Groves as chairman.
“I look forward to working with David and the other directors on the board to ensure Pengana International Equities continues to deliver value to our shareholders,” Mr Gooch said.
Mr Groves said that it had been a pleasure to serve the shareholders of the company.
He said: “Frank has already proven an invaluable addition to the board, bringing with him extensive knowledge of the Australian listed investment company industry, and I firmly believe that the company can only further benefit by being under his stewardship.”
