Laurent Toussaint has previously held the role of chief financial officer at ASX-listed recruitment firm Ambition, supply chain management business Super Group, and IT services providers Dimension Data and Atos.
He brings "grassroots understanding of the underlying dynamics of the Countplus member practices", according to a statement.
Mr Toussaint will commence in his new role on 22 January next year, and will take the reigns from outgoing CFO John Collier, who is leaving the firm on 2 November.

During the interim, managing director of Countplus member firm MBA Partnership Geoff Missen will be acting CFO.
