Mr Ahboo joins RARE from CommSec, where he worked exclusively with the independent financial adviser sector as a business development manager.
Over the course of his 19 year career in the financial services industry, Mr Ahboo held roles with MLC and NAB Group and worked across insurance, unlisted fixed income, wholesale trading and cash platforms.
“Nathan brings a wealth of experience to RARE with a proven record of establishing and growing long-term client relationships,” said RARE head of global partnerships and co-head of retail distribution Matt Bushby.
“His hire supports our Australian retail strategy and will enable RARE to provide a greater level of support to advisers in both QLD and WA. We are excited to have someone of Nathan’s calibre join our team.”
Mr Ahboo commenced in his new role on 28 November, and will be responsible for driving relationships with both dealer groups and boutique practices.
