Multi-boutique asset management firm BNY Mellon Investment Management have named Chris Tse as the business' new head of intermediary distribution for Hong Kong.
Previously working as FTSE Group's director and regional head of business development for Asia, Mr Tse has a wealth of experience across the financial services industry and will report to head of intermediary distribution for Asia ex-Japan Nicolas Kopitsis.
“In addition to Chris’ investment management experience, he has an enviable reputation in the education and academic space where he sits on several industry and academic advisory boards. I am looking forward to working closely with Chris in the region,” Mr Kopitsis said of the appointment.
BNY Mellon Investment Management head of distribution for Asia-Pacific Lindsay Wright said Mr Tse was a good fit for the role, and that she was "delighted" with the appointment.
"Chris has a deep understanding of investments, combined with product, regulatory and distribution expertise, making him an ideal fit for the team. In an environment of changing regulations, Chris has the ability to converse with and educate clients about the impact of these changes."
