Hong Kong-based fintech company Quantifeed has named Graeme Brant as the company’s new senior executive for strategic partnerships to drive business in Australia.

Mr Brant, who is based in Sydney, has worked in financial services for over 20 years, and has held senior roles at both Merrill Lynch and Macquarie Bank in that time.

Much of Mr Brant’s experience is in “investment products and distribution to institutional, high net worth, and retail investors”, the company said.

This appointment is one of a number of senior appointments made by Quantifeed, including Audrey Wong in both the chief operating officer and chief financial officer roles, Dominic Chan as another senior executive for strategic partnerships , and Chi-Leung Fung as senior developer of operations.

These three additional appointments will be based in the company’s Hong Kong office, and Quantifeed chief executive Alex Ypsilanti said they would support the business’ growth throughout the region.

"These hires demonstrate the company's commitment to helping wealth management businesses in Asia execute their strategy in a digital world," Mr Ypsilanti said.

"We are tremendously fortunate to have people of this calibre on the team. They will be instrumental in helping us grow and scale our business across Asia."
