Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has named Asieh Mansour as the newest member of the company’s global unlisted infrastructure team

Ms Mansour, who is based in the US, has been appointed as a director of CFSGAM's global infrastructure fund, bringing 25 years' experience in the industry to the role.

CFSGAM described Ms Mansour as a "widely recognised real asset economist”, adding that her appointment would greatly benefit the business.

"Asieh’s ability to identify emerging trends and translate complex economic issues into actionable strategies is expected to contribute to robust decision-making," said CFSGAM.

Ms Mansour’s appointment coincides with the appointment of Australia-based Graham Dooley, who joins the fund as a senior adviser.

Graham Dooley, who has 20 years' experience in the public sector and 25 years in the private sector, will focus on opportunities in the water sector globally, said CFSGAM.

Mr Dooley said, "With changes to water industry regulations in most Australian states, it is now possible for institutional investors like CFSGAM to invest in regulated water utilities and similar infrastructure in the municipal, irrigation and industrial water sectors across Australia."
