Contango Asset Management has expanded its investment team with the appointments of Xia Wu and Eric Tan as the company’s newest associate analysts.
Ms Wu has experience working both in China and Australia, with companies that included China Citic Bank, KPMG and NAB, before making the move to Contango.
During her career, she has worked as an international trade analyst, a tax consultant, and a fund performance analyst.
Mr Tan’s background is in equity and managed funds research, and he held research roles with CIMB Investment Bank and Lonsec Research before joining the Contango team.
“We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of two talented and enthusiastic associate analysts to Contango, who’ll add further depth to our already highly experienced team,” said Contango chief investment officer, George Boubouras.
“We have made it well known that we have a clear and strategic growth plan in place, and expanding our investment team is a big part of that.
“Adding high calibre individuals allows us to keep improving performance for our clients and shareholders,” he said.
