Mr Ossés said the new hires would “thrive” in their roles and he looked forward to what the team would bring to the business.

Man GLG co-chief executive Teun Johnston said he was delighted with the new team and the skills they brought with them.

“Together, they bring a vast amount of experience and expertise to Man GLG’s emerging markets debt team and demonstrate the commitment that we have made as a firm to developing an outstanding proposition for clients in this asset class,” he said.
