Australian fintech company CXi Software has appointed a senior financial executive as the new chair of its advisory board.

Ed Stockdale, formerly Computershares’ head of global operations, has been named as the new chair, bringing more than 30 years’ experience to the role.

Mr Stockdale’s appointment comes alongside the addition of two new board members, Enda Mahoney and Kieran Hennessy, while CXi managing director Séamus Ó Concheanainn said the new board members will support “global expansion over the medium term”.

“The appointment of an advisory board with such broad and deep experience in financial markets, and the servicing of those markets, will ensure that CXi brings the very best fintech products to market later this year,” Mr Ó Concheanainn said.

“Ed will provide considerable input to CXi and guide us in best practice in corporate governance, stakeholder management and risk and compliance,” he said.
