Nikko Asset Management has named its new regional sales manager for NSW and Queensland.
Former BlackRock research relationship manager vice-president Thira Ngoeun has been appointed to the role.
The new appointment comes as Nikko AM introduces new pricing models to its funds.
Nikko AM managing director for Australia, Sam Hallinan, said the new appointment will reinforce relationships.
“We are pleased to welcome Thira to the team and believe that his addition will further strengthen our relationships in NSW and Queensland as part of our commitment to comprehensively service the needs of financial advisers,” he said.
Prior to his role with BlackRock, Mr Ngoeun worked with AMP Financial Services as a model portfolio manager and senior research analyst.
