Real estate investment company LaSalle has named a new co-head of its client capital group, based in Chicago.

Former Carlyle Group managing director Alok Gaur will take on the role, reporting directly to LaSalle chief executive Jeff Jacobson.

Mr Jacobson said he is “very excited” to have Mr Gaur on board, adding that his “incredible enthusiasm” makes him a good fit for the company.

“We are making an investment in adding a proven talent to our already strong team in order to help us further expand the depth and breadth of our relationships with investors around the world,” Mr Jacobson said.

Mr Gaur said he is “thrilled” with the appointment and is looking forward to working with fellow client capital group co-head Jon Zehner.

“The company’s recent capital raising success is testament to its continued focus on delivering performance and client service, and I look forward to maintaining this going forward,” said Mr Gaur.
