Former Equifax Canada president Carol Gray has been appointed to the IFM Investors board of directors.

IFM Investors chair Garry Weaven announced the appointment today, saying Ms Gray is “widely regarded as a strong leader in the industry”.

Ms Gray, who is based in Canada, also serves on the boards of Amex Bank Canada and Infrastructure Ontario. She previously held an executive role with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Ms Gray’s 30 years’ experience in the financial sector will make her a “valuable addition” to the IFM board, Mr Weaven said.

According to IFM Investors, Ms Gray’s appointment “reflects the significant global growth” of the company, which has a majority of investors based in North America.
