Darren Beesley has joined AMP Capital’s multi-asset group as a portfolio manager, responsible for developing the firm’s retirement funds which are set to be launched this year.
AMP Capital multi-asset group head of portfolio management Debbie Alliston said: “This is a new role that we have created in response to the competitive and changing nature of portfolio management.
“Darren is a skilled, contemporary portfolio manager and I’m delighted to have him on board as we continue to maximise value for our existing and prospective clients.”

Prior to joining AMP Capital, Mr Beesley held roles at IAG Asset Management as a portfolio manager and at Perpetual as a portfolio manager within the firm’s diversified strategies team.
