A former Decimal Software executive has been appointed by Rubik Financial to head up its newly created marketing and communications arm.
Joanna McCarthy, who was the previous head of marketing and communications at Decimal, will take up the same role at Rubik.
In a statement, Rubik said Ms McCarthy will be responsible for brand, digital, internal and external marketing and communications.
Rubik chief executive Ian Dunstan said: “It’s great to be able to invest in our marketing and communications strategy with a dedicated, full-time resource in Joanna.”
“Joanna brings with her a suite of skills that will be valuable in helping drive our business forward and she represents one of many great people hires we look forward to announcing in the coming quarter.”
Ms McCarthy’s departure from Decimal follows that of former chief executive Carolyn Colley, who resigned from the top job last November. Ms Colley was replaced by Nic Pollock.
