NAB Asset Management names JANA CEO

NAB Asset Management has appointed a new chief executive of its investment consultancy business JANA, replacing outgoing boss Ian Patrick.

Jim Lamborn has been named as JANA’s new chief executive, replacing Ian Patrick who will join Sunsuper as the fund's chief investment officer.

NAB Asset Management executive general manager Garry Mulcahy said: “We are extremely pleased to announce Jim as the new chief executive of JANA.

“Jim’s business experience and natural leadership qualities will allow us to continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients."

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Lamborn said he is “excited” and “honoured” to lead the business.

Mr Lamborn joined JANA in 2002, becoming head of implemented consulting in 2004 and a director in 2006.

Mr Mulcahy also thanked Mr Patrick for his time at JANA, leading the business since 2008.

“He is very well respected throughout the industry for his deep intellect, critical thinking and sense of equity and fair play. His relentless client focus has been the key to his success and I’d like to thank him and wish him the best with his next endeavour,” he said.
