AMP Capital has appointed a new investment director within its Australia and New Zealand infrastructure equity funds team.
David Kenny will join AMP Capital on 12 October as the investment director of Australia and New Zealand infrastructure equity funds.
Mr Kenny has over 15 years’ experience across investment banking and infrastructure investment, with a focus on the airports sector, a statement from AMP Capital said.
AMP Capital head of Australia and New Zealand infrastructure equity funds Michael Cummings said: “The airport sector is a key pillar of our global infrastructure business, and it is of strategic importance as we continue to target long-term value creation for our clients.
“We have recently added Port Hedland International Airport to our portfolio of global airport assets and David’s appointment ensures we have on-the-ground expertise as we assume management of the asset.”
Mr Kenny joins the firm from Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan board where he was general manager, business development.
