A former Macquarie Group executive, Stephen Mentzines, has been named as a senior portfolio manager, global infrastructure.
Magellan head of infrastructure Gerald Stack said: “The growth in our infrastructure business has been very encouraging and we are delighted with the opportunity to add Stephen to our team.”
“Stephen’s considerable level of infrastructure, operational and financial experience brings additional and unique insight that will broaden and deepen our skill base, as we seek to continue enhancing our ability to deliver superior outcomes for investors.”
Prior to joining Magellan, Mr Mentzines was with Macquarie Group for over 10 years. He served as head of North American infrastructure and real assets, and also as global chief operating officer for the same division.
Mr Mentzines will be based in Sydney.
