According to a statement by AMP Capital, Mr Pandit has decided to leave the company to “pursue opportunities with another firm”.
AMP senior portfolio manager, Jonas Palmqvist, has also announced his resignation in order to join another firm.
Mr Palmqvist will be replaced by senior portfolio manager Phillip Hudak and portfolio manager Carlos Castillo.
As well as assuming the new role of head of Australian Fundamental Equities, Mr Price will continue to manage the sustainable and income strategies, said AMP Capital.
“We are confident the portfolio management responsibilities will be transitioned seamlessly,” said the statement.
“We would like to thank both Gian and Jonas for their contribution to AMP Capital and wish them well.”
