Lonsec Research chief executive David Erdonmez has been poached by Pimco to head up the firm's newly-formed Investment Due Diligence Group (IDDG) in Australia.
Mr Erdonmez will be responsible for leading the newly formed IDDG, which includes the servicing of all research house relationships, said Pimco in a statement.
Pimco Australia and New Zealand executive vice president Adrian Stewart said: “David is an important addition to the Australian senior leadership team and his addition underscores Pimco's commitment to the Australian marketplace.”

The Investment Due Diligence Group is tasked with developing and executing product strategies that help clients achieve their long-term investment objectives, the statement said.
