First State Super appoints head of digital

Non-for-profit fund First State Super has appointed a chief digital officer.

Mary Murphy has been appointed to the newly created position of chief digital officer at First State Super.

Ms Murphy will have responsibility for the digital transformation of the fund as well as developing First State Super’s brand and corporate affairs strategy.

First State Super has also appointed Guy McAliece as chief operating officer.

Mr McAliece will be responsible for marketing, insurance, business development, and the fund’s member administration and service centre.

First State Super chief executive Michael Dwyer said: “In an effort to expand and improve the quality and depth of service we provide to our members, we have restructured our leadership team to create further capacity for growth.”

“I am confident these appointments will further strengthen the leadership team and enable First State Super to help our members achieve a better financial future in retirement.”
