Global asset manager AB has appointed a new managing director of the Australia client group.
Jeremy Browne, a former Arrowstreet Capital business leader, has been appointed to the new role at AB (formerly AllianceBernstein).
AB chief executive of Australian and New Zealand Jen Driscoll said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy to the team, as AB builds on its long-established institutional business in Australia.”
“Jeremy’s strong client focus, technical knowledge and proven ability to align investment solutions to client needs are absolutely in keeping with AB’s client-centric values, and with our aim to keep our clients ahead of market developments and at the sharp end of product innovation,” Ms Driscoll said.
“Jeremy’s appointment illustrates our commitment to enhancing our engagement with existing and future clients in the institutional market.”
Mr Browne has also held positions with PIMCO and Citigroup Global Markets.
