AMP Capital has appointed a new principal of investments to its infrastructure equity team.
Damian Stanley, who will be based in London, has been appointed in the role and will be responsible for leading transactions in the region for the global infrastructure platform and AMP Capital’s institutional investors.
AMP Capital global head of infrastructure equity Boe Pahari said: “Damian will play a key role in finding the best opportunities from the region for our clients.”
“He brings a unique understanding of infrastructure transactions as both an adviser and a principal and will provide valuable insight as we deploy the capital committed to our global infrastructure platform.
“AMP Capital’s focus is on acquiring additional assets for the global infrastructure platform in sectors such as transport, energy, communication and utilities and we have been encouraged to see deal flow steadily increasing across Europe,” he said.
Prior to joining AMP Capital, Mr Stanley was a director on the Australian board of Whitehelm Capital and chairman of its UK subsidiary board.
Mr Stanley has also held previous positions with Morgan Stanley, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets at Macquarie Group.
