Boutique investment firm Pinnacle has hired a former RARE Infrastructure Limited executive as director of distribution.
Matt Dell has been appointed in a move to expand the firm’s domestic and offshore distribution capabilities.
Pinnacle managing director Ian Macoun said that “hiring Matt is a real coup for Pinnacle”.
“Matt’s extensive funds management experience will be highly valuable as we look to consolidate our market position in Australia as well as look to promote our managers offshore,” Mr Macoun said.
“We have known him for more than 10 years and are delighted that he’s decided to join us."
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Dell said he is looking forward to help develop and grow the business.
“I have observed the evolution of Pinnacle over several years and am really impressed at the quality of each of the investment boutiques,” said Mr Dell, who will also become an equity partner of Pinnacle.
He will assist Pinnacle’s fund managers – Resolution Capital, Palisade Investment Partners and Antipodes Partners – to engage with the institutional and retail marketplace in Australia and overseas, a Pinnacle-issued statement said.
