“Stephanie has a strong track record in relationship management within the institutional investment industry and her appointment supports our focus on broadening our institutional client base in the region,” Mr Philpott said.

Franklin Templeton managing director Maria Wilton said Ms Hukins’ appointment ensures the firm is able to address “growth opportunities” across the region.

“Our quality strategies across global and local investment teams in fixed income, equities, real estate and multi-asset solutions have been very well received by the institutional market,” Ms Wilton said.

“Stephanie’s appointment ensures we continue to have a strong team in place to meet the demands of our clients and to address the growth opportunities we are seeing."
