Wealth management firm Pengana Capital has appointed two new members to its distribution team.
Pengana Capital has hired Rebecca Morgan as the regional manager for Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
The wealth manager said Ms Morgan will be responsible for sales across its funds through dealer groups and financial planners.
“[Ms Morgan] has considerable experience in institutional and retail sales, plus investment operations,” a statement from Pengana said.
“[Her] most recent role was as state manager [for Victoria and Tasmania] at Advance Asset Management and prior to this she had worked at Perennial Investment Partners and IOOF Investment Management."
Pengana Capital has also appointed Anthony Huston as an executive director, based in Singapore.
“[Mr Huston’s] primary responsibility will be to develop and grow Pengana’s institutional business outside of Australia,” the statement said.
“He will initially focus on institutional sales opportunities for the Pengana Asia Special Events Fund.
“This fund invests in listed equities in the Asia Pacific region that are undergoing corporate events such as M&A, capital management initiatives, earnings upgrades/downgrades and capital structure arbitrage,” it said.
