AMP has appointed Helen Livesey to the newly-created role of director of brand and marketing.

Reporting to AMP chief customer officer Paul Sainsbury, Ms Livesey will be responsible for leading AMP’s direct-to-consumer engagement while supporting AMP’s main distribution channels.

Ms Livesey has held a number of roles within AMP over 15 years and led the development and introduction of AMP’s new logo in 2011.

She has also worked in a number of brand and marketing roles at BP, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyd’s and Westpac.

Mr Sainsbury said she is the ideal candidate to lead brand and marketing.

“This role will be key in driving deeper customer engagement as AMP moves towards being an increasingly customer-driven organisation,” he said.

Ms Livesey said she is “looking forward to taking on the role at an exciting time for AMP as we focus on improving the customer experience and moving to a more content-led approach in order to build greater engagement.”
