Mr Arnold makes the move from IOOF. Prior to that, he was head of strategy and innovation at ANZ Private Bank.
Leveraged Equities executive Alexandra Tullio said the company received 70 applications for the role and that after a thorough interview process, Mr Arnold proved to be the stand-out candidate.
“David brings immense depth of experience to the leadership team that will add a great deal of value, both to the team and to the broader business,” Ms Tullio said.

Mr Arnold will be based in Melbourne and will commence his new role on December 10.
