FIIG Securities has appointed a head of markets in a move the group says completes an expansion of its senior management team.
Craig Swanger joins FIIG after 15 years at Macquarie Bank, most recently in the role of chief investment officer and head of innovation, where he was responsible for the investment aspects of Macquarie's wealth management and banking arm, FIIG stated.
In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing FIIG’s sales and channel distribution business as well as risk management and product development. He will report directly to chief executive Mark Paton.
Mr Paton said Mr Swanger’s broad financial markets expertise gave him the ideal background for his new role at FIIG.
“Craig has extensive experience in wealth management across diverse investment products including fixed income. His track record of leading businesses on behalf of a range of clients means he is well placed to make a substantial contribution to our business,” Mr Paton said.
