Boutique fund manager Presima has been awarded a mandate from Zurich Financial Services Australia to invest in global REIT opportunities.

The mandate will see Presima identify REIT investment opportunities to further diversify Zurich investments.

“Our team has been working on a number of significant opportunities recently, as the business continues to grow,” Presima chief executive Peter Zabierek said.

“Zurich is a household name in financial services around the world and we’re extremely pleased to have won this mandate.

“To be investing on Zurich’s behalf reflects their high level of conviction in our ability to continue to identify compelling global REIT investment opportunities to add to their diversified investments.”

The mandate market the second successive Australian win for Presima, who was awarded an MLC mandate last month.

“This mandate, along with our MLC win last month, reflects the growing interest and support for the Presima business,” Mr Zabierek said.

Presima is a partner boutique investment firm of nabInvest, National Australia Bank’s direct asset management business.
