Centuria Capital has appointed Google's head of performance, Susan Wheeldon-Steele, to its board of directors.

Ms Wheeldon-Steele has a wealth of executive experience in law, insurance and real estate, having worked with firms such as DLA Piper, King & Wood Mallesons and AMP Capital, where she served as head of brand and retail.

Centuria chairman Garry Charny said Ms Wheeldon-Steele’s skill set made her an asset to the business, describing her appointment as “a step towards the future”.

“We are delighted to have someone of Susan’s calibre and unique skill set, particularly in the digital space, to join the board at a time of major growth for the company,” he said.

In her current position at Google, she is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies for global businesses.
